Denim: Lines, treatments and details - Spring/Summer 2021 (Fashion For Breakfast)

On the S/S 21 runways denim is showing off its ever-versatile nature by taking on the form of dresses, jackets, jumpsuits, suits and renewing its style with new prints and unusual decorations.
 
As for the lines, the choice is vast and diversified: the right mix of revisited classics of the past and more classical pieces suitable for the everyday wardrobe.

A must-have for the summer season are Summer shorts, a key garment for the holiday months, in mid rise or high waist version, but also with special asymmetric cuts.
Remaining on the theme of short lengths there are Bermuda jeans, with their typical boyfriend fit and unisex appearance, or Denim skirts, with their ‘90s feel recreated with wash effects.

In terms of details and treatments, on the other hand, denim offers a thousand versions and interesting proposals that take these garments to the next level, from casual to more elegant.
Bloom on denim underlines blossoming floral and plant prints on denim garments, that embellish it with a feminine and ultra romantic look.
The types of washes include Tinted denim, which is a more accentuated version of the acid wash: the denim is first treated and then dyed, giving dark as well as the new pastel shade jeans a characteristic grunge effect.
