UBM launches [email protected] factory showcase

UBM announced on Tuesday the launch of [email protected]Coterie, a juried collection of factories. From September 18 through 20, [email protected] will feature a curated selection of factories specializing in apparel, accessories, and footwear during Coterie New York at the Javits Center in New York City.

Factories from the US, Japan, Europe, and South America that specialize in lower minimums and higher quality production will be hosted at the event. The participating factories must go through an application process to be evaluated based on certifications, current customers and industry awards.
 
"We are thrilled to be launching a Sourcing event in New York during Coterie. Our brands there have been asking for this, and now they will be able to walk over and meet with some of the best factories in the world, all under one roof at Javits," said Christopher Griffin, President, [email protected]

To support the new show, Sourcing Journal, one of the show partners alongside Made in NY and Designers Guild Expo, moved its annual summit from October to September with the Sustainable Apparel Coalition.
 
[email protected] is the latest launch from UBM and follows the announcement of a partnership between CurveNV and Project Womens. The two trade shows from Eurovet and UBM, respectively, will hold a partnered show at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas this August.
 
UBM this month also announced that MRket and Project have joined forces for a partnered New York City show this July at the Javits Center, and Children’s Club has expanded to the west coast with Children’s Club Magic that will take place in Las Vegas.
 
Coterie will be held at the Javits Center in New York City from September 18 through 20.
