Loewe reopens Paris flagship

Published
Jul 8, 2013

Last week, Madrid-based brand Loewe celebrated the re-opening of its Parisian boutique in the presence of chief executive officer Lisa Montague (ex-Mulberry). Absent from the event was Stuart Vevers – also ex-Mulberry- who recently left the company after five years to take over as artistic director at Coach.

The store opened in early spring after a renovation led by luxury architect extraordinaire Peter Marino. The ground floor is home to leather goods and accessories while upstairs houses women’s and menswear.

In December, Loewe opened a new production site just south of Madrid, a move which should help to double the company’s production capabilities. Founded in 1846 and bought by LVMH in 1996, Loewe aims to renovate half of its stores before the end of 2013.
