Holt Renfrew honoured with AAFA Retailer of the Year Award

On Monday, April 27, 2015, the American Apparel & Footwear Association (AAFA) hosted the 37th Annual American Image Awards in New York City, recognizing outstanding achievements throughout the apparel and footwear industry.

Holt Renfrew, Canada's luxury specialty retailer, was honoured to be presented with the "Retailer of the Year" award. It was the first occasion that the award has been presented to an international retailer.

"On behalf of Holt Renfrew, I am deeply honoured to accept this award," said Mark Derbyshire, President, Holt Renfrew. "Holt Renfrew is pleased to be in the midst of the most dynamic expansion of our history and we are delighted to be recognized with this momentous AAFA distinction."

Holt Renfrew was celebrated at the charity gala in support of Mercy Ship, attended by 500 media, fashion and retail elite.

This year's other honorees include company of the year Brown Shoe Company and designer of the year Cynthia Rowley.
