Volcom to become official outfitter of U.S. snowboard team

Boardsport lifestyle brand Volcom has been named as the official apparel partner of the U.S. snowboard team.
As part of the partnership, the brand will outfit both the men and women of the U.S.’s Snowboardcross, Slopestyle/Big Air, and Halfpipe teams through the 2022 Beijing Olympic Winter Games, as well as coaches and support staff.
Athletes will wear Volcom at World Cup, World Championship, and National events, as well as official training camps globally leading up to and during the 2022 Olympic Winter Games in Beijing.
Volcom’s official U.S. snowboard team gear will include outerwear, hoodies, gloves, hats and beanies in a patriotic color scheme of red, white and blue, as well as camouflage prints.
The pieces feature Volcom's signature tech enhancements, including ‘Zip Tech,’ a patented zipper system that allows the wearer to zip the powder skirt Volcom Snow jackets into any Volcom snow pant, preventing snow from getting under the wearer’s clothes, as well as Volcom's proprietary ‘Thermal Defense System,’ which features 3-layer jackets with strategically-placed down paneling to maximize warmth without overheating.

The partnership follows Volcom's sale to Authentic Brands Group from former parent company Kering in April.
