The European Factory Outlet Centres Observatory has unveiled the winners of its Magdus Awards, celebrating the most exceptional European achievements in six categories: Best Centre, Best Project, Best Architecture, Best Brand Dynamism, Best Promotion Activity, and Investor of the Year.

The awards are conferred after a European pre-selection process, followed by a ballot voted on by twenty industry experts who choose three nominees per category.

This year, in the “Best Centre” category, "Marques Avenue Romans" in France, and "Ashford" and "Gunwharf Quays" in the UK were all nominated. This time, it was the French centre that took the prize.

In the Best Project category, Copenhagen Designer Outlet (Denmark), Scalo Milano (Italy) and Villefontaine were competing. When it was all said and done, it was Scalo Milano that triumphed.

For the Best Architecture award, One Fashion Outlet (Slovakia), One Nation (France) and McArthurGlen Neumünster (Germany) were nominated. But it was One Fashion Outlet who emerged victorious.

Superdy (United Kingdom), Fossil (United States) and Lacoste (France) were nominated in the Best Brands category. On this occasion, the French brand carried the day.

As for Investor of the Year, AEW Europe, Henderson Global Investors and Resolution Property were nominated. Henderson Global Investors came away as winner.

Finally, for the title of Best Developer, McArthurGlen (UK) Retail Value (USA) and Neinver (Spain) were in the running but it was McArthurGlenwho won the race.
