Ted Baker names non-executive directors

Ted Baker has announced that Anita Balchandani and Jennifer Roebuck have joined its board as independent non-executive directors, who will provide additional experience in digital and other related areas to support the continued growth of the business.

Balchandani, who currently sits on the board of directors of premium skincare brand Space NK Apothecary, has been appointed chairman of the remuneration committee and a member of the audit committee.

She is a partner of OC&C Strategy Consultants, a leading international strategy consulting firm and is also non-executive director and chair of the remuneration committee of Majestic Wine.

Jennifer Roebuck is an experienced digital and e-commerce executive with a background in digital transformation and brand marketing, particularly in the lifestyle and clothing sector. She joins Ted Baker as a member of the audit committee.

The company also announced that David Bernstein has left his role as chairman of the audit committee, and Anne Sheinfield has stepped down as non-executive director after more than 7 years in the role.
