Tanesha Awasthi opens up about Lane Bryant collaboration

Blogger Tanesha Awasthi, aka the 'Girl With Curves', has opened up about her new fashion collaboration with plus-size retailer Lane Bryant.


The influencer, whose award-winning blog Girl With Curves aims to inspire body confidence amongst women of all sizes, has teamed up with the fashion label on a 20-piece collection set to launch on September 9, with worldwide shipping options.

"As a long-time customer and friend of the brand, I was intrigued that the company was founded by a woman in 1904, paving the way for every girl with curves to have a place in fashion," explained Awasthi in a statement. "Words can't express how excited and honored I am to collaborate with a company as respected and iconic as Lane Bryant, and I can't wait for everyone to see the amazing collection we created."

A video clip uploaded to Awasthi's Instagram account hints at pleated miniskirts, printed dresses, and a chic blue coat, amongst other pieces.

"Our brand prides itself on its modern feminine aesthetic and we were drawn to Tanesha's effortlessly cool and chic personal style," said Malissa Akay, SVP, GMM of Lane Bryant. "We just knew we had to incorporate that magic into a collection for our clients."

The series, dubbed 'Girl With Curves x Lane Bryant', is the brand's first-ever collaboration with a fashion influencer, and will feature dresses, sportswear separates and outerwear designed with curves in mind. It will be available in sizes 12-28 and will be priced from $34.95 to $149.95.
