TAG Heuer arrival at Liverpool One is LVMH's first dedicated partnership in city

Property giant Grosvenor hasn’t had to persuade David M Robinson (DMR) how good its association with the Liverpool One mall is. The British luxury jewellery retailer is set to open its third store there “following its consistently strong performance at the destination”.

And DMR’s new 3,600 sq ft boutique is significant as it will be in partnership with Swiss watch brand TAG Heuer, and will mark parent LVMH’s first dedicated partnership in the city. 

Opening in October, the TAG Heuer showroom will join DMR’s Omega boutique as well as its recently upsized and refurbished jewellery and Rolex flagship on South John Street. 

Set to be the largest of its kind in the country, the store will feature a private luxury lounge and bar, as well as a traditional boutique space.

“This latest commitment made by the British, luxury jewellery retailer follows its continual stellar performance at the destination and is a significant vote of confidence in Liverpool One, where DMR has operated since its launch in 2008”, noted Grosvenor. 

John Robinson, Managing Director at DMR, added: “We have enjoyed a long-standing relationship with both TAG Heuer… and Liverpool One, where we have operated for 15 years, and so to further evolve our relationship with both is very rewarding. 

The October launch will follow the DMR London opening of its Peninsular hotel showroom in September.
