The London Textile Fair expects to welcome between 5,500 and 6,000 visitors to its upcoming show in January at the Business Design Centre.

The trade fair will open its doors once again on 11-12 January with over 400 European textile manufacturers showcasing their Spring Summer 2018 pre-collections.

Exhibitors from Italy, Portugal, Turkey, France, UK, Spain, Germany and more will be arranged in four halls: textiles, accessories, print studios and vintage garments.

The accessories hall has been expanded to accommodate more brands, and it will have together with the accessories area more than 90% of the total exhibiting space.

The event says the majority of visitors will be from the UK, with regular buyers including representatives from River Island, Victoria Beckham, Harrods, Alexander McQueen, Tommy Hilfiger, American Outfitters, Ted Baker, House of Fraser and John Lewis, to name a few.

The biannual event saw its visitor numbers decline to 4,750 in July as the climate of economic uncertainty following the EU referendum took its toll.

Despite this, the exhibitor rebooking rate is around 95%.
