Stella McCartney designs and fronts exclusive Mytheresa collection

Luxury fashion retailer Mytheresa has unveiled another designer capsule collection from a cult label, this time collaborating with sustainability advocate Stella McCartney.

Designer collaborations have helped fuel Mytheresa’s global growth over the past few years, and the Munich-based company has been very selective about these projects, picking only the hottest names. 

Off-White, Ganni, Erdem, Balmain and Prada are some of the labels which have teamed up with the luxury destination in the past 12 months.  

British designer Stella McCartney joins the roster with an 11-piece capsule collection that is launching exclusively with Mytheresa from October 15. 

True to her feminine and tailored style, the exclusive range includes suiting separates, puffed-sleeve dresses, alter nappa trousers, a jumpsuit and a knitted co-ord, in a versatile colour palette of black, brown, and pink with leopard jacquard, zebra and horse prints.

“This collaboration with Mytheresa perfectly reflects the essence of Stella McCartney, it has a lot of sustainability in it,” said Stella McCartney about the capsule collection. 

“Several of the pieces are made of sustainable viscose – which we are one of the few fashion houses in the world to have."

Celebrating their partnership, the fashion icon and activist wears the capsule collection alongside models Anine van Velzen and Chen Lin in an exclusive campaign directed by Mytheresa global creative director Julian Paul and shot by photographer Clare Shilland.
