Skincare Sanctuary acquires Gatineau brand from Revlon

UK beauty clinic specialist The Skincare Sanctuary has bought anti-ageing professional skincare brand Gatineau for an undisclosed sum.

London-based Skincare Sanctuary, which is Gatineau’s long-standing UK distributor, has purchased the brand from Revlon Consumer Products Corp.

Gatineau is a long-established brand that specialises in “high performance, anti-ageing treatments and formulations”, with global distribution channels including professional salons, brick-and-mortar retail, QVC, leading e-tailers and its own direct-to-consumer website. 

Key products in the Gatineau portfolio, include DefiLift Firming Neck and Décolleté Gel and Tan Accelerator.

“This acquisition will allow Gatineau to flourish, accelerating the development of new formulations and expanding our global distribution. It marks the start of a new and exciting era for the brand”, said new Gatineau CEO Andrew Bagley.

He added: “I have worked with Gatineau for over 27 years and look forward to bringing the benefits of [the brand’s] powerful formulations to a wider audience. We have had a long-standing relationship with Skin Sanctuary and believe they are the right partner for Gatineau’s future”.
