From now on the job will fall to Scarlett Johansson, whose Hollywood pulling power is seemingly ever-increasing. Born in New York in 1984 she became a celebrity thanks to her role in the film ‘The Horse Whisperer’. In 2004, her performance in ‘Lost in Translation’ won her a BAFTA for Best Actress, for which she was also nominated for her role in ‘Girl with a Pearl Earring’. Since then the actress has been in many Woody Allen films, such as ‘Match Point’, ‘Scoop’ and ‘Vicky Christina Barcelona’, in which she shared the screen with Penélope Cruz; a connection which adds a touch of funny coincidence to her latest employment.
