Saudi's Fawaz Alhokair names Atul Singh as CEO

Saudi Arabian retailer Fawaz Abdulaziz Alhokair Co said on Monday it has appointed Atul Singh as its new chief executive, effective April 1, 2017.

The company said on Oct. 24, 2016, that Simon Marshall had resigned from the position for personal reasons, effective Jan. 31, 2017.

Fawaz Abdulaziz Alhokair is Saudi Arabia's largest franchise retailer and represents over 80 fashion brands, including Zara, Aldo and Banana Republic. It trades in over 2100 stores across 17 countries, and was set up in 1989 by brothers Dr. Fawaz Abdulaziz Alhokair, Eng. Salman Abdulaziz Alhokair and Dr. Abdul Majeed Abdulaziz Alhokair.
