Sainsbury's supports Tu Clothing with new campaign

Published
Sep 24, 2020

Sainsbury’s clothing brand Tu has launched an ad campaign called ‘Dress Well, Feel Good’ to inspire the nation to get dressed with their own wellbeing in mind.

Tu AW20 campaign - Sainsbury's

Featuring street cast models and showcasing hero product from the Tu AW20 collection, the campaign demonstrates how the clothes we wear can help us to look and feel good.

The emphasis on wellbeing and comfort comes on the back of a 187% increase in Tu nightwear sales during March compared to the same month last year -- a figure that indicates how the nation’s relationship with their wardrobes has changed since the start of the pandemic.

Sainsbury’s said the campaign celebrates the art of getting dressed and inspires us to consider how fashion can positively impact our mood.

Stephen Bowes, head of campaign management for Sainsbury’s, said: “It has been a challenging year for so many families and we wanted to create an optimistic and thought-provoking moment to signal a new season and inspire the nation to dress to feel good – at a time where perhaps we need that more than ever.”

The campaign sends a positive message amid growing concerns over a second national lockdown after UK PM Boris Johnson unveiled a new set of Covid-19 restrictions that could last up to six months.

All product featured across Tu’s ‘Dress Well, Feel Good’ campaign are available to buy in selected stores and online at Tu.co.uk and Argos.co.uk throughout September and October.
