Ralph Lauren brings a touch of glamor to Huntington Library

Ralph Lauren organized an exceptional fashion show this Thursday, October 13. Hundreds of guests attended to discover the spring 2023 collections of the house, including the lines Collection, Purple Label, Double RL, Polo Ralph Lauren and Childrenswear.

It was held at the Huntington Library in San Marino, a legendary venue for Californians, which houses a fabulous museum dedicated to French and British art from the 15th to early 20th centuries, and to American art from the Colonial period through the 50's, galleries and beautiful gardens. The show was to reveal the multi-faceted lifestyles of the West Coast, where "the worlds of sports, western, college and understated luxury intertwine with its personal and optimistic design sensibility."
 
"I have always been inspired by the natural beauty, heritage and glamour of the American West Coast," Ralph Lauren explained. "California has always been a land of dreams and contradictions - wild coastlines and red carpets. For the first time, I'm bringing my dream of living here, sharing my worlds in an event that celebrates a way of life I've always believed in. A mix of courage and glamour, energy and inspiration."

Among the guests who made the trip, the label counted Jennifer Lopez, Ben Affleck, Jessica Chastain, John Legend, Robin Wright, Sylvester Stallone and Diane Keaton. All were invited to attend a cocktail party, the fashion show and to take part in a chic candlelit dinner, featuring Ralph Lauren's favorite dishes, all in front of a rose garden. 

Showcasing the full range of Ralph Lauren's world, the show illustrated "the luxury and craftsmanship of the Collection and Purple Label lines, combined with the adventurous nature of Double RL, the youthful and irreverent spirit of Polo Ralph Lauren and the charm of children's fashion". The event featured over 100 models from multiple generations and was streamed live on Ralph Lauren's social media platforms.
