Pure London and Scoop to be digital in February

Published
Nov 12, 2020

Events organiser Hyve Group has been forced to change the formats and dates of its February Pure London and Scoop editions.

Pure London

Ongoing government restrictions arising from the coronavirus pandemic have meant the cancellation of the next Pure London and Scoop physical editions, scheduled to take place on 14 February. However, they will now be staged as virtual forums under the ‘Fashion Together’ banner on 23 February.

But Hyve also confirmed the following Pure London and Scoop events will return in their physical formats on 12-14 September in London, “with very exciting plans to be announced soon”.

“Hyve Group and the Scoop and Pure London teams are now working to deliver an enhanced virtual forum with product features and exclusive seminar content designed to educate and inform participants”, it said. “More information on Fashion Together will be available in due course”, it added.

Meanwhile, following the cancellation of Jacket Required’s July edition, the menswear portfolio will now be curated by Karen Radley, founder and MD of Scoop. This new edit of menswear collections will mirror the premium line-up of Scoop’s women’s fashion labels and will be part of the show’s September 2021 edition.

Pure London event director, Gloria Sandrucci, said: “Whilst we take pride in the curation, content and organisation of our shows, it is the people who attend them that make both Scoop and Pure London so special, whether they are buyers or brands. Whilst it is regrettable that we won’t be able to meet in person next February, we hope that Fashion Together will provide a great opportunity for our community to connect in a virtual forum."

She added: “We hope that Fashion Together will provide our clients and customers with the opportunity to stay connected and inspired by providing a platform to showcase their businesses, as well as essential industry insights. Following the success of our first edition of Fashion Together, we are excited to develop the concept and deliver another inspirational virtual forum this February."
