Spanish bridal brand Pronovias has announced changes to its leadership structure following the departure of creative director Hervé Moreau in July. Moving away from the single designer approach, the brand will now have a team of design experts led by Alessandra Rinaudo, founder of bridal specialist Nicole Fashion Group.

Alessandra Rinaudo is set to lead the new design team at Pronovias - Pronovias

“Having a single creative director was not enough to cope with our growth,” a Pronovias spokesperson told FashionNetwork.com in the summer. So the company has announced a new design team made up of leading international designers. Among these is Alessandra Rinaudo, the Italian bridal designer, who has been appointed as chief artistic director.

Thomas Vasseur, the French Haute Couture designer who cut his teeth working with John Galliano, Alexander McQueen and Givenchy, will become the new design director of The Party Edit, Pronovia’s occasion wear line. Italian-German designer Riccardo Serravalle is set to take up the reins of the St. Patrick brand after building a career with the likes of Justin Alexander, Barbara Becker and S Oliver. Finally, Nicolle Cavallo has been named as creative director of the group of brands belonging to the Nicole portfolio.

“This strategy will set a new standard for our industry and ensure that Pronovias continues to drive innovation. In addition, this creative team will allow us to boost our unique portfolio of luxury brands across all markets,” said Pronovias CEO Amandine Ohayon.

American designer Zac Posen is collaborating with White One - Pronovias

This week the group also announced a partnership with American designer Zac Posen to launch a bridal collection under the Zac Posen for White One label. The collaboration is the first for the bridal brand aimed at millennial brands and will include 20 dresses and 10 accessories, with prices ranging from $1,200 to $4,000. The range will launch in select stores in early 2020.

Founded in 1964, Pronovias was acquired by BC Partners in October 2017 in a deal worth over 550 million euros. A year later, the private equity firm took over Italian company Nicole Fashion Group to add it to its Pronovias portfolio. The group, whose stable of brands includes St Patrick, White One, Ladybird and Nicole, has a presence in 105 countries and 4,000 locations.
