Published

Nearly 250 children's clothing and footwear brands, jewellery, interior design and nursery fittings participated in the 8th edition of the exhibition dedicated to the world of children, Playtime, with an expectant mother's area, has seen its number of exhibitors double. As for the visitors, there were 3,834 visitors walking around the exhibition over the three days, an increase of 28.5% compared to July 2009 despite a "slow start on Saturday"reported exhibitors.

But on Monday, the last day of the fair, buyers were still present, "there have been lots of people and we have made good commercial contacts," Moon et Miel, who attended the show for the first time, told us.

Note the internationalisation of the fair since, compared to last January the number of international visitors rose by 4.57% with 28.2% of visitors arriving from Europe and 7.6% from all over the world.

The next edition of Playtime Paris will be held from 29 to 31 January 2011 at the Parc Floral de Paris on the same dates that the new entrant in the segment children, Kid Camp, launched by the Bread & Butter.
