Visitors to the concept store, which includes a 156-square-meter exhibition area, can shop Abloh’s latest collection for the brand in full.

The space features a neutral, earthy color palette, punctuated and brightened by brass accents and islets of greenery. The store’s subtly textured walls and soft cream ceiling aim to create an atmosphere of tranquility that puts shoppers at ease.

A neon art installation in the centre of the space asks, “What is retail?”, a question intended to reflect the boutique’s approach to the shopping experience.

According to a post on the store’s Instagram account, the space seeks to offer a more dynamic retail experience, in line with Off-White’s image as an innovative, modern brand. In practice, this means that products will be presented in a variety of different ways so as to highlight their individual characteristics.

Off-White operates some 50 locations worldwide, including approximately 20 stores in Greater China. The brand is currently owned by UK-based Farfetch, which acquired the label’s parent company, New Guards Group, in 2019.

Off-White’s new Taipei flagship held its grand opening on February 5 and is now open to shoppers.
