Nili Lotan to open first store in Los Angeles

Published
Dec 9, 2022

The Sycamore district, east of Hollywood, continues to attract fashion brands. After Just One Eye, a fashion pioneer in the neighborhood, and the delayed opening of Jacques-Marie Mage's eyewear boutique, it's Israeli-American designer Nilo Lotan and her eponymous brand that is about to open.

Nili Lotan is opening its first store in Los Angeles

After a career as a senior designer at Liz Claiborne, Ralph Lauren and Nautica, the New York-based designer launched her brand in 2003 in a segment between contemporary and luxury, with pieces starting at $395 and coats between $4,000 and $6,000, and a bias "neither loud nor aggressive but pure and sophisticated design with intuition and awareess to satisfy the needs of women living in a city."

Sold in specialty and upscale department stores in cities across the United States, in major cities throughout Europe and in Tokyo and on her online eshop, Nili Lotan is now at the helm of three boutiques in the United States, two in New York and one in Palm Beach.

The opening of a Los Angeles boutique coincides with the good sales figures achieved by the brand on the West Coast, which represents 40% of her e-commerce business. The brand open a 400-square-foot store, which will reflect the gallery mood of its other stores.

A space dedicated to men will also be housed there, the designer having launched for the first time her men's collections last July.

Next door to Jacques-Marie Mage's future store, the first Nili Lotan boutique will be located at 927 North Sycamore Avenue.
