Nike names global sales head, GM Asia Pacific & Latin America
Nike Inc. announced on Tuesday the appointment of Ann Hebert as vice president of global sales. Carl Grebert, currently general manager of the Global Jordan Brand, will succeed Hebert and become the company’s new general manger of Asia Pacific and Latin America.
They will both report to Elliott Hill, Nike’s President of Consumer and Marketplace.
“Carl and Ann are both seasoned Nike veterans who will continue to drive growth and accelerate our consumer direct offense. We are well positioned for the future with their leadership,” said Hill, in a news statement.
Grebert has led Jordan’s global product engines, marketing, merchandising and category GM teams for the last year-and-a-half. Prior to his position with Jordan, he was general manager of Young Athletes and before that led the Japan geography team, as general manager of Nike Japan.
Meanwhile, Hebert, a 23-year Nike veteran, was previously vice president of the Global Nike Direct Partner business and led the North America sales team.
Asia Pacific and Latin America has been an increasingly meaningful market for the sports brand. It’s currently Nike's third-largest sales geography.
