Senior management change for Moschino, the Italian label owned by the Aeffe group: Stefano Secchi has been appointed CEO replacing Gabriele Maggio, who was in charge for over three years.

Stefano Secchi (formerly with Etro) is Moschino’s new CEO

“We are delighted that Stefano Secchi has joined Moschino, and we recognise he has the skillset to lead the label into a new growth phase, enhancing its value and maintaining its highly distinctive brand identity, exploiting new commercial opportunities and tackling successfully the challenges set by an increasingly globalised market,” said Massimo Ferretti, executive president of Aeffe and chairman of Moschino’s board of directors.

Stefano Secchi, 42, was formerly the commercial director of Etro. He started his business career at Giorgio Armani, where he worked for approximately 8 years, becoming Group Strategic Marketing Manager in 2011. He then switched to Versace, where he was appointed Global Wholesale Director in 2015.

The Aeffe group is listed on the STAR index of FTSE - Borsa Italiana (the Milan stock exchange) and, besides Moschino, it produces and distributes Alberta Ferretti, Philosophy by Lorenzo Serafini, Pollini, Jeremy Scott and Cédric Charlier. In 2018, Aeffe grew by 11.2% at constant exchange rates, and in Q1 2019 its revenue was up 7.4% at current exchange rates. In H1 2019, Aeffe has however slowed down, growing 1.3% at current exchange rates and reaching a revenue of €173.3 million.
