Monobrows and green lipstick: beauty looks from day one of Milan Fashion Week

Milan Fashion Week is officially underway, and day one of the catwalk extravaganza set the tone for some fairly outlandish beauty looks.

Moschino
From the blue face and body paint that turned one model into a beautiful avatar, to the flippy bobs inspired by Jackie O, Moschino's beauty concept was both nostalgically retro and gloriously futuristic at the same time. Cue eyeliner flicks and bubblegum pink lipstick.

Gucci
Gucci took a completely different approach, opting for a barefaced, intellectual look (Alessandro Michele's love affair with geeky eyewear continues) that was broken up by a playful, subversive monobrow.

Lucio Vanotti
In contrast, Lucio Vanotti practically erased the models' brows with the help of the bleach bottle, focusing instead on spiky lashes and a wind-flushed glow.

Annakiki
Colorful lipstick has become something of a theme during the Autumn/Winter 2018 presentations so far, but Annakiki stood out with some strikingly unusual shades, such as this shamrock green hue.
