Mamas & Papas in John Lewis deal, clothing to be added later

Published

Nursery brand Mamas & Papas has announced a wholesale deal with John Lewis & Partners to supply a curated range of products on the department store retailer’s website and in some of its key locations.

Mamas & Papas

The initial range for the John Lewis link-up will include best-selling travel items, such as its Ocarro and Armadillo pushchairs, along with the new Flip XT. But there’s clearly future potential for expansion and with the firm also selling a strong kids’ clothing offer, among other baby/toddler-focused categories, there’s huge future potential for the deal.

Riccardo Cincotta, executive chairman of Mamas & Papas, said: “John Lewis & Partners is an excellent partner for our business. This partnership will open up our range to a wide online audience and loyal shop customers. In time we expect to broaden our offering into other categories such as furniture and clothing.”

In addition to offering the full range at the John Lewis Oxford Street flagship, a curated assortment will be in other locations shops such as the Bluewater mall just outside London and in Stratford, Cardiff, Norwich, Liverpool and Glasgow.

Mamas & Papas currently operates 30 of its own stores and has more than 100 distributors in the UK and Ireland.
