Lorac Los Angeles launches Pirates of the Caribbean collection
In its first ever partnership with Disney, cosmetic brand Lorac Los Angeles has released a Pirates of the Caribbean makeup collection.
The collection celebrates the new Pirates franchise film, 'Dead Men Tell No Tales'. If that is an ominous title, the makeup collection features an 18 color eye shadow pallet, a cheek pallet and a lip color package, named in the spirit of the movie.
Besty Hamlett, Chief Creative Officer of Lorac, explained the brand's heritage as a Hollywood brand and its reason for the partnership with Disney.
Hamlett said, "As part of the brand's modernization, we are embracing our LA heritage with fresh and fun new product collections and this collaboration is the perfect opportunity to showcase our brand values and creativity."
The goal of the limited release collection is to give fans the tools to pay homage to Johnny Depp's Jack Sparrow character. Specifically, with the never before launched colors, fans will be able to create the perfect Jack Sparrow smokey eye.
Names for the shades and colors in the collection include Sparrow, Ahoy Matey, and Trident.
The Lorac limited edition Dead Men Tell No Tales package is available both online through Lorac's ecommerce site as well as at Ulta and Kohls.
It launched this month in anticipation of the film which opens in theaters May 26.
