Jimmy Choo is the latest to make the move to London Collections: Men

Published
Apr 12, 2013

Jimmy Choo will be present at the next edition of London Collection: Men, which will take place in June and will mark the opening of the Spring-Summer 2014 season. The timing coincides with the brand’s new store opening at 35 Dover Street, just next to the Christian Louboutin men’s store which celebrated its launch last year. The new Jimmy Choo address will replace the previous men’s store situated in the Burlington Arcade.

"Having Jimmy Choo move it’s men's presentation from Milan to London for London Collections: Men in June is marvelous news, and will make our third men's fashion week even more exciting," said LC: M chair and GQ editor Dylan Jones. "This is further proof that London really does feel like the home of menswear, as designers from everywhere from Milan and Paris to Beijing and New York come here to show," continued the editor, likely making a reference to Burberry’s recent to decision to bring back its menswear show to London this June, after a long run in Milan.

Since debuting its men’s line in 2011, Jimmy Choo has taken part in men’s Fashion Week in Milan, which takes place just after the Pitti Uomo show in Florence. The Labelux brand now returns to its home town of London along with Burberry to present its Spring Summer 2014 men’s collection this June.
