Italian fashion returns to Chic in Shanghai

Published
Mar 18, 2016

'Made in Italy' fashion returned to Shanghai’s Chic trade show with the 'La Moda Italiana@CHIC' section. For this second edition, held from 16th to 18th March, it grouped together 51 companies as opposed to 46 last October. They will showcase their Autumn/Winter 2016-17 collections for apparel, footwear and accessories for men, women and children.

At the root of the project there is a synergy between the Italian Ministry for Economic Development, the Foreign Trade Institute (ICE), the Ente Moda Italia fashion body (EMI), as well as the employers' association of the Italian fashion industry, Sistema Moda Italia (SMI), and the footwear manufacturers' association, Assocalzaturifici.

"Together, these organisations are continuing on the journey they started in March 2015: to present in China, currently one of the most interesting and dynamic markets, the Italian fashion system in a united and synergic way," the organisers stated in a press release.
