Ispo creates an "action sports" section

Published
Oct 17, 2016

For its next edition February 5 to 8, Ispo is creating a new section for board sports. Located in hall B6 of the outdoor and sports fair in Munich, Polygon intends to have a "100% focus on B2B activities."

The area hopes to attract all types of companies in the industry by offering four different stand sizes. The stands overall will have a honeycomb shape, hence the section’s name, Polygon. Ispo says it will be offering areas for industry players to meet and exchange as well as a music and arts programming to energize the event. The organizers say the concept is based on the success of other recently created fair sections.

Polygon will group together various areas with their own focus: Snowboarding, Street & Urban, Sneaker and Skate. The Ipso initiative is being launched following the Bright fair's (board sports and steetwear show in Berlin) launch of an outdoor section.

Ispo says it welcomed 80,000 visitors to its 2016 edition.
