Hunkemoller to launch his 'n' hers swimwear collection

Dutch lingerie retailer Hunkemöller will be launching a matching swimwear for men and women. The collection will be released in June, just in time for the summer holidays.

The menswear range will consist of three different styles: a high waisted brief, a Brazilian style brief and a trunk bottom. These styles will be available in both prints and plain colors and will be offered in the sizes small, medium and large. The retail prices start at €34.99. For women the retailer offers a two-piece bikini.

Hunkemöller says that the upcoming collection is a response to  trends including unisex wear and the rise of gender-neutral items. “The idea behind this matching beach look stems from the enormous demand after the mini me collection that Hunkemöller has launched last year. The collection, consisting of matching onesies, was designed for mother and daughter,” the lingerie retailer states in a press release.

The collection will be available online and in selected Hunkemöller stores from 4 June 2018.

Founded in Amsterdam in 1886, today Hunkemöller has evolved into Europe’s fastest growing lingerie brand. The retailer operates 830 stores in 25 countries. The lingerie chain is currently market leader in the Netherlands, Germany, Belgium and Luxembourg.
