The German luxury brand will support three students each year, one from each area of the course: Fashion Journalism, Fashion Critical Studies and Fashion Image. The recipients, selected by an internal panel, will receive a stipend of £3,000 each.

“Central Saint Martins is an extraordinary institution where young talents can develop their skills across different fashion disciplines. We are very much looking forward to our collaboration with the college and the students in the years to come,” said Ingo Wilts, chief brand officer at Hugo Boss.

Roger Tredre, course leader of  the MA Fashion Communication programme, added: “We are really excited that Hugo Boss is providing these scholarships. Hugo Boss has a global communications perspective and is consistently innovative both in menswear and womenswear. This collaboration could not be more perfect.”

Part of the University of the Arts London, Central Saint Martins is one of the world’s leading fashion schools. Its long list of famous alumni include Alexander McQueen, Stella McCartney, John Galliano, Gareth Pugh and Hussein Chalayan.
