Gwen Stefani joins Revlon as global brand ambassador

Revlon on Tuesday announced that Gwen Stefani has joined the company as a global brand ambassador. The three-time Grammy Award winning singer and songwriter will represent Revlon in global campaigns beginning this year in Revlon’s ‘Choose Love’ campaign.
 

Stefani launched her music career in 1986 with the band No Doubt, and later became a multi-platinum solo artist. She is currently one of the coaches on the NBC musical competition series 'The Voice'.
 
“We are thrilled that Gwen Stefani will be representing Revlon as a global brand ambassador,” said Revlon President & CEO Fabian Garcia. “Gwen is a modern-day icon: a Grammy-winning artist, a trendsetter, an entrepreneur and loving mother. The versatility of these accomplishments demonstrates her message of female empowerment, one that strongly resonates across generations of fans.”

The singer and songwriter has been a part of the fashion and beauty industries since 2003 when she founded her fashion line L.A.M.B. The brand, which is inspired by various global fashion cultures, eventually expanded from women’s apparel to accessories and the L fragrance.
 
Stefani, in 2014, collaborated with 7 For All Mankind and Citizens of Humanity founder Michael Glasser on the DWP (Design With Purpose) collection, and she was the first-ever celebrity designer collaboration for Urban Decay. In 2016, she launched the gx by Gwen Stefani eyeglass collection with Tura Inc.
 
In the beauty realm, Stefani was the face of L’Oréal Paris alongside songstresses Beyonce and Jennifer Lopez.

Revlon's international and professional segments have performed well for the company, offsetting falling sales in North America. In the third quarter, international net sales increased 9.7%, and professional segment sales increased 2.2% in North America and 6.3% internationally. The professional segment sales increase was driven by Revlon Professional hair products and American Crew men’s grooming products.
 
Gwen Stefani joins the growing list of Revlon ambassadors that includes Jessica Alba, Claudia Schiffer, Cindy Crawford, Jessica Biel, Halle Berry, Olivia Wilde, Emma Stone and recent addition Ciara.
