Gore-Tex launches rental service

Outerwear brand Gore-Tex announced the launch of its 'Outerwear on Demand' garment rental program providing access to Gore-Tex snowsports apparel via rental. 

As part of the program, rental will be available at 15 different resort and retail locations throughout North America, and is expected to grow to additional locations in coming seasons. 

Each item in the Outerwear on Demand collection is an exclusive Gore-Tex garment. The collection of premium, high-quality garments was specifically designed to deliver maximum comfort, performance, and style for all riders, in all conditions. 

Following a rental, each garment will undergo a professional, multi-point inspection process, after which it will be cleaned locally to lessen the carbon footprint of shipping, then repackaged for next use. 

Outerwear on Demand is designed to be an ideal solution for traveling families, as well as for occasional skiers and snowboarders not yet ready to invest in their own gear. The program also brings environmental advantages for conscious consumers.

Gore-Tex joins a number of brands that are tapping into the rental market including Ba&sh, Rebecca Minkoff, LK Bennett and more.
