Florence Tetier designs capsule collection for Asics

For the end of year celebrations famous jewelry designer Florence Tetier, imagined a capsule collection of shoe accessories for the Japanese sports equipment manufacturer since 1949, Asics. The Parisian co-founder and creative director of Novembre magazine, has reworked the “Gel Nimbus 9” sneaker model with an upcycling touch. The shoes are ardorned with exclusive jewels made with found plastic. 

The sneakers can be worn with or without the jewel accessories and come in 3 colors: black and white for women or pure silver and classic red or frosted almond and black for men. 

The thirty pairs were presented at Jogging Marseille and put up for auction on the Drouot website starting at 300€. The auction started on December 14 at 8 pm and will remain open until December 15, 8pm. All profits will be donated to the Ecole Démocratique de Paris, an alternative associative school where children between the ages of 5 and 18 years are free to learn independently.
