Fendi Casa opens flagship in Miami

Fendi Casa has inaugurated its second flagship store in Miami, in the heart of the Design District.

Fendi Casa opens flagship in Miami. - Fendi Casa

Spanning 6,372 square feet and two floors, the Miami boutique is characterized by a minimal façade in black and white, with large windows. The store was designed by Fendi’s architecture department and features several of its signature codes such as the FF logo across the walls, and ceilings adorned with relief decorations, while a arch motif pays tribute to the Palazzo della Civiltà Italiana, Fendi’s Roman headquarters.

Likewise, focal points in the new space were crafted by leading names in international design such as furniture by Piero Lissoni including his Ohe outdoor seating system, Marcel Wanders' O'Lock Mirror and Dimorestudio's Matrice bookcase.

Inside, customers, architects, and interior designers will equally find 'The Materioteca' room where they can sample a range of materials in the Fendi Casa Collection through an immersive experience for personalization and bespoke design.

Last April, Fendi opened its first flagship store in Milan embarking in a joint venture with Fashion Furniture Design (FF Design) led by Alberto Da Passano and majority owned by Design Holding. Together, they plan to open around 40 Fendi Casa stores in three years, between directly operated and franchised units.

Fendi Casa first launched in 1987, but was produced and controlled under license by the Italian company Luxury Living Group up until 2021 when Fendi chose to change its strategy, bringing its design and furniture business in house.

Looking ahead, Fendi Casa is set to land in Asia, with the opening of a boutique in Shanghai in the first half of next year.
