Feelunique.com raises €25 million

Feelunique.com, the British site dedicated to beauty, has just completed a second round of funding of €25 million. This was achieved with the company's primary shareholder, Palamon Capital Partners, as well as from two new investors who have not been named. The additional capital will allow the UK site to expand its presence in its main UK markets, as well as in France and China, where the site has just launched.

Led by Joel Palix (ex-CEO of Clarins Fragrance Group) since 2014, Feelunique.com reported its year-end results on March 31, 2016, with global sales up 23% to € 85 million (+38% on the English market).

Last November, a French subsidiary was established through the acquisition of Perfume Rive Droite. Claire Blandin, former purchasing manager at Beautéprivée.fr, led the growth and development of the site in France. The four Perfumes Rive Droite shops located in Paris and the Paris region will be featured in the coming weeks on the Feelunique.com site. In addition, an advertising campaign will be launched this spring to increase brand awareness.

Founded in 2005 in Jersey by Aaron Chatterley and Richard Schiessl, Feelunique.com offers 450 international brands. The website is available in five languages ​​(English, French, Spanish, German and Chinese) and delivers to 110 countries.
