Fashion consultant Julie Gilhart teams up with Tomorrow London
Tomorrow London Holdings has joined forces with Julie Gilhart. The famous US fashion consultant, a member of the London agency's board since 2016, has merged her own firm, Julie Gilhart Consulting, with Tomorrow Consulting, the management consultancy branch of the service platform for emerging labels and designers. The news was confirmed to FashionNetwork.com by Tomorrow London.
As part of the new agreement, Julie Gilhart becomes the president of Tomorrow Consulting, while still holding the post of development director for the Tomorrow Group.
Tomorrow London was first created as a showroom, and in a few years it morphed into a multi-service platform for fashion designers, active in the production, distribution, marketing and communication fields. Led by Stefano Martinetto and Giancarlo Simiri, Tomorrow London has a licence portfolio which includes some of today's hottest labels (A-Cold-Wall, Ader Error, Ambush, Facetasm, Sunnei and Coperni, to name but a few).
Julie Gilhart is an experienced professional in the fashion and retail sectors. As a freelance fashion consultant, she has notably worked for nearly 18 years with New York department store chain Barneys, for which it also held the post of fashion director. Gilhart sits on the board of several fashion industry groups, among them Tomorrow, Parsons and Mulberry. She founded her eponymous consultancy agency in 2011. The news was originally reported by WWD.
