Published

Hundreds of global textile manufacturers from countries including Turkey, Portugal, China and India will descend on London this month to attend the latest edition of Fashion SVP.

Fashion SVP

Set to return to Olympia London on 29-30 January, the apparel and accessory sourcing show said this edition will focus on Responsible Sourcing. A spotlight will shine on sustainability and ethical consciousness, taking a wider look at the practicalities of implementing a fully sustainable strategy throughout the entire sourcing, manufacturing and retail process.

So the SVP team has selected over 100 manufacturers, coming from countries like Romania, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Macedonia, Bulgaria, Lithuania, Belarus and the UK, to provide buyers, designers and sourcing professionals a comprehensive platform to secure the production of their future collections.

Key show features will include dedicated sections for High End Luxury and Small Run Production, High Volume production, Denim and a core of Middle/Upper Middle manufacturing. Visitors can also find suppliers offering everything from outerwear to underwear garment production, vertically integrated fabric design, in-house design services and printing.

New this season will be the show’s expanded matching service, which connects buyers with manufacturers. Rather than operating only during the event, the service will continue to run throughout the year, helping brands with their production needs.

Fashion SVP said visitors can expect 2 days of inspiring talks and seminars on key industry topics, with invaluable insights coming from leading industry experts. There will be drop-in discussions, practical advice and guidance and  networking opportunities.

The biannual event will open its doors on 29 January at Olympia Central within the Olympia Exhibition Centre in Hammersmith.
