Eurovet launches Riviera by CURVExpo in California

Lingerie and swimwear tradeshow organiser Eurovet has announced the launch of new trade show Riviera by CURVExpo in California. Based on the same concept as Riviera by Mode City, which takes place in Cannes in September, the Huntingdon Beach-based show will take places on August 11th and 12th, strategically placed before lie between New York market week and Las Vegas fashion week. The show will be held in partnership with the International Swimwear and Activewear Market (ISAM).

Marie-Laure Bellon, CEO of Eurovet, explains: “Since we have acquired CURVExpo™ in April 2012, we are now closer to fulfilling the needs of the industry in North America. The success of this first Riviera in Cannes validated our strategy: acting globally and locally by gathering the industry at the most favorable time and place to conduct business.”

Serving the swimwear and lingerie industry is at the core of Eurovet’s DNA. Eurovet acquired American lingerie tradeshow organizer CURVExpo in April 2012. The group now holds shows in Paris, Las Vegas, New York, Cannes and Shanghai. The Californian contingent will round up a selection of 100 swimwear and activewear brands at the Hyatt Regency in Huntingdon Beach.
