Natural skincare brand Consonant has opened a new pop-up location at the Royal Bank Plaza in Toronto this week to spotlight its star product HydrExtreme.

Dubbed the Hydration Hub, the pop-up aims to allow the Canadian skincare brand to share its cult favourite product with consumers in an engaging way.

"Our aim with the Hydration Hub pop-up was to create an inviting space where we could connect with people and educate them on the importance of hydrated skin," explained Bill Baker, founder of Consonant Skincare, in a release.

"Recirculated air in office buildings downtown, especially during the wintertime, is incredibly drying. We invite everyone to visit us and see for themselves, with a simple and quick skin test, just how dry skin can get in those conditions."

Open Monday to Friday from 8 am to 6 pm until the end of March, consumers can meet with a Regimen Coach at the pop-up to test the level of hydration in their skin and receive tailored skincare recommendations and samples based on individual readings.

The Canadian skincare brand currently operates three standalone stores and often looks to offer an engaging retail experience.

At its new flagship store in Toronto, for example, the retail space also doubles as a community hub as part of the company’s 'Beauty 2.0 experience', where ongoing community programming for healthy living and wellness initiatives are offered weekly by industry experts and leaders.

The company has also experimented numerous times with pop-up shops for the launch of new products and treatments including in Toronto at Yorkdale Shopping Centre.

Consonant Skincare is headquartered in Toronto, Ontario. Its products are created and produced in Canada and are known for being 100 percent natural.
