American brand Coach will be crossing the Atlantic next month to show off its first full menswear collections.

The label's first ready-to-wear line for men by British designer Stuart Vevers will debut in the UK capital as part of the London Collections: Men event, with the show set to take place on January 9.

Previously the brand's menswear was limited to a select range of outerwear and seasonal items, as well as an existing footwear line.

"London is the standard-bearer of classic men's style but always encourages the next generation of talent. Though Coach is American to the core, that juxtaposition is the essence of our brand: blending the established with the cool," he explained.

Vevers joined the brand in June 2013 to take the place left by American designer Reed Krakoff, having arrived from Spanish luxury brand Loewe (where he was in turn replaced by fellow Brit Jonathan Anderson).
