French high-end childrenswear label Bleu comme Gris, created in 2008 by Vanessa Marrapodi, is keen to expand its monobrand store network internationally: after a first opening in London a year ago, it now plans to open three new stores in 2018.

Autumn/Winter 2017-18 collection by Bleu comme Gris

The new stores will be located in Beirut, Lebanon, in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and in London's Mayfair district, the second opening in the UK's capital. The stores "confirm our label's growing appeal with an international high-end clientèle, and our intention of defending the values of French couture in the childrenswear world," said Stéphane Marrapodi, CEO of Bleu comme Gris.

The label currently operates six monobrand stores, five of them in France, and is also adding to its product range. After introducing a fragrance last summer, and footwear this winter, for next spring Bleu comme Gris is launching jewellery (in fine gold and prime diamonds) and silverware (a solid-silver mug and napkin ring), all of them made in France, according to the label.
