Carnaby Christmas shopping party returns

London-centric property giant Shaftesbury is ramping up pre-Christmas festivities for its key Carnaby Street retail destination and its surrounding streets.

An eight-hour ‘Carnaby Christmas shopping and dining party’ will take over the immediate area on 4 November from noon. The experiential event will engage over 100 retailers, restaurants and bars with immersive in-store activations, offers, free drinks and interactive workshops, alongside 20% discounts.

Beneath the Carnaby Christmas canopy of over 600 sparkling butterflies, the season’s lights will be illuminated for the first time.

Carnaby neighbourhood stores taking part in the event include Levi’s, Hype, Adidas Originals, The North Face, Office, RS No.9 Carnaby, The Kooples, Paul Smith, Barbour, Soho Home, Sweaty Betty, Birkenstock, Diesel, Muji and Aubin, alongside beauty brands including Benefit, Too Faced, MAC, Skin Laundry and War Paint for Men. 

Other promotions include Mallet London, which is offering a surprise gift with purchase and Pepe Jeans London, hosting a free customisation studio. Other features include Butterfly dancers on stilts, a kaleidoscope photo booth and live music on Ganton Street.
