The Spanish company Bimba y Lola ended the first half of 2022 with a 6.5% year-on-year increase in sales, as announced by the company on Friday in a statement.

This growth was achieved thanks to the positive performance of international sales, which the company described as "excellent", with an increase of 34% compared to the same period in 2021.

With its recent entry in China, Thailand and Argentina, Bimba y Lola is now present in 45 countries. These international markets among others accounted for 47% of the group's total revenue in the first half of this year.

Regarding sales channels, the healthy recovery of the in-store activity continued (14% more sales than in 2021), while the digital channel made a modest contribution and accounted for 17% of total revenues.

In addition to its ongoing expansion plan, the group is continuing to invest and develop its future headquarters in Vigo and its logistics center in Mos in order to strengthen the growth and development capacity of the Bimba y Lola brand at a global level.
