Billie Eilish has landed a major new fashion contract with MCM.

he 17-year-old US singer has been snapped up by the German fashion label to front its Fall 2019 campaign, reports WWD. Hip-hop artist Childish Major also features in the images, which were shot by photographer Lea Colombo.

Elaborating on the unisex style of the campaign, which sees Eilish sport a range of oversized silhouettes, the singer told WWD: "You don't have to be a boy. You don't have to be a girl. You don't have to wear something specific to that title. You know, you can be anything at all."

"She's a game-changer: Not only is she disruptive, but it also feels like she can't be corrupted," added MCM global creative officer Dirk Schönberger. "It's not a marketing trick: She is that person. She really stands out in the current music scene."

MCM has hinted at the campaign on social media, posting a video clip of Eilish to its Instagram stories, in which the star says: "I like to glorify the things that make people uncomfortable."

The news marks Eilish's first major fashion campaign, and is the latest of several milestones for the star, who released her album "When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?" back in March for it to debut at number one on the US Billboard 200.
