Bally names Frédéric de Narp CEO

Published
Sep 20, 2013

Bally has appointed Frédéric de Narp as CEO - effective November 4 - following the departure of Berdnt Hauptkorn who left in January 2012 to take up his role of CFO at Fast Retailing Europe.

The Labelux-owned brand will present its final collection by current creative directors Michael Herz and Graeme Fidler at Milan Fashion Week. The design duo’s successor is yet to be named.

Under the supervision of Frédéric de Narp, Bally will undergo a slight brand repositioning to focus on its core strengths of company: quality and workmanship.

Frédéric de Narp started his in career doing retail for Cartier in Japan before climbing the corporate ladder to become president and CEO of Cartier North America. He then moved over to Harry Winston Inc. where he held the same title. He left the jeweler in April 2013.
