American Eagle names Peter Z. Horvath Chief Global Commercial and Administrative Officer

American Eagle Outfitters announced on Thursday the appointment of Peter Z. Horvath to Chief Global Commercial and Administrative Officer, effective May 9, 2016.
 

In this position, Horvath will be responsible for Global Store Operations, Real Estate, Human Resources, Merchandise Planning and Allocation, Legal and Corporate Strategy, and he will report to Chief Executive Officer Jay Schottenstein, who he worked with at DSW, Inc.

Horvath possesses extensive retail experience that spans 30 years. He held several senior positions including EVP, Chief Operating Officer for Victoria’s Secret Stores, President of DSW, CFO, Apparel Merchandising and SVP, Merchandise Planning and Allocation at Limited Brands and most recently CEO and Chairman of Mission Essential Personnel LLC.
