Acne to collaborate with Mulberry on leathergoods collection

Published
Oct 21, 2019

An interesting high-end collaboration will be unveiled next month with Sweden-based Acne Studios and the UK’s Mulberry linking up on a new leathergoods collection.

The new logo for the Mulberry-Acne collab

It comes as headline-grabbing exclusives and special collaborations grow in importance for luxury labels seeking to differentiate their offer, attract new customers and create new reasons to purchase.

We don’t know many details yet but the two businesses have released an image of the logo for the collection that’s a blend of Mulberry’s well-known mulberry bush image with the letters of Acne Studios appearing like leaves in the tree emblem.

The collection debuts on November 5 and we’re told that it will include bags and small leathergoods, “marrying together the signature designs of the two houses”.

It should certainly be interesting with Mulberry’s classics-with-a-twist and Acne’s offbeat signature style likely to work well together.
