Acne Studios launches "Showpiece Prototype" concept

Celebrating the latest fashion season, the Swedish brand rolled out its new “Showpiece Prototype” concept during New York Fashion Week. As part of the brand’s autumn/ winter 2017 show, 100 original one-off pieces will be available in the brand’s stores exclusively during the fashion weeks. 

After launching the project on Madison Avenue followed by London in the heart of Dover Street Market, Acne Studios took the concept this week to Milan. Next week will be Paris from September 26, in their flagship store located on Rue Froissart.

Amongst the 100 pieces on offer, brand enthusiasts will be able to acquire checked jackets, long patent leather coats, and striped woollen coats, all made by hand.

Notably, the brand is also opening its first flagship store in San Francisco on 18-24 Geary Street. The space measures 290 square metres and the interior design is inspired by the famous Golden Gate. This is a new addition to the list of the brand’s three addresses in New York for its US operations.
