Vente-Privée Privalia puts Fabio Bonfà in charge of Italy

Vente-Privée Group, the French online event sales leader, issued a press release announcing the appointment of Fabio Bonfà as Country Manager Italy for the Vente-Privée website and for Spanish site Privalia, which the group bought in 2016.

Fabio Bonfà is of Italian-Brazilian origin and was born in 1977. He holds a marketing and management degree, having been educated at the Pontifícia Universidade Católica in Campinas, near Sao Paulo, at the Fondation Getulio Vargas in Rio de Janeiro and at Babson College, Boston, USA.

After his studies, Bonfà started a career in the e-commerce sector, working for Brazilian sites such as submarino.com, extra.com, centauro.com and walmart.com. He notably worked on the launch of the last three of them in Brazil, before taking charge of Privalia Brazil in 2012.

Bonfà takes over from Valentina Visconti, who worked for nine years at the French group. She was Country Manager Italy for Privalia for eight years, and last year she also took charge of Vente-Privée Italy.
